Listed below are some of the golf courses within easy reach of moorings along the Shannon and Erne. Information is given on each golf course along with details of the closest mooring, to enable you to choose your golf courses according to which part of the River you will be cruising. Services at each of the golf clubs vary and you should contact the club directly for further details. Most of the golf clubs shown have bar and restaurant facilites - either bar snacks or full gourmet menus are available. Other services including hire of golf clubs, carts and motorised buggies can be arranged for a small charge. Soft spikes are mandatory on all courses. We recommend that you contact the club well in advance to book your tee time and date- they can be very busy in the summer months. You should avoid weekends if possible.

Just a 15 minute taxi journey from Belturbet will take you to Co. Cavan Golf Club in Cavan town. This parkland course is one of the oldest in Ireland, established in 1894.
